Right Wing Rascals

They are people described by their characteristic hate for minorities in India, especially Muslims. They feed on hate, and try to encash any opportunity however minor, to flare up communal tension and cause riots. Their desperation can be sensed from their acts very evidently.

After the grand success of Achchhe Din campaign. Realising the power of deception and misinformation in the Information Age. They are now more bolder in lying to the general public at their very faces. It is alarming to observe that these people have now realised the power of disinformation and have now agressively embarked on the disinformation dissemination campaign.

Dedicated websites and Facebook pages run by the very senior right wing leaders are religiously spreading lies, cooked up stories, vitriol against other communities on not a daily, but rather hourly basis. The people are being taken for a ride and threat psyche is being systematically stirred and evoked.

They are jubilant after the landslide victory of BJP in general Elections 2014. The euphoria and the sense of triumphalism was evident immediately after the poll results. Resulting in the murder of Pune techie because he looked like a Muslim.

Muzaffarnagar riots (2014) were given more fuel by a Pakistani video circulated by a BJP leader in which, a mob lynched two people, alleged to be criminals. The Indian Politician of the right wing political party the BJP, lied to his own very people, that video to be of Muzaffarnagar in which Muslims are killing Hindus, and circulated it on social media platform. What happened afterwards is a well known event.

Every possible effort is being done to demon-ise the entire Muslim community in India, by them. These Indian right wing Hindutva Bigots leave no stone unturned on the social media and otherwise, to link the entire Muslim community with any mishap. May be because, when they begin their Gujarat style or Israel style operations (read ‘genocide’), which they openly yearn for, in the social media, they have public opinion in their support.

For such people, a pretext is necessary, however lame but it is necessary. Take for example the case of a Pune techie murdered by right wing Hindutva scoundrels because of a facebook post, immediately after the triumph of right wing political party in India in the general elections 2014. Imagine a murder over a facebook post !

Though these hate mongers function under the garb of Hinduism (point to be noted, Hinduism has nothing to do with Hindutva), their foundations’ roots are watered by sheer hatred and vitriol towards other communities.

They are blindly for any cause that is against any other community. Example, All the right wing trolls became self appointed defenders of Israel during its recent genocide in Gaza. Even started manufacturing false news on the issue to again misinform the general public in India. But thanks to social media and International Organisations and Agencies present on the ground, reporting live from Gaza, the truth spread globally resulting global outrage over Israeli genocidal aggression. The right wing rascals were overwhelmed.

I am confident that because of lack of any solid foundation based on Truth, this movement will die a natural death. Their false claims and misinformation to general public will not work for long.

As it is said,

One can fool some people for some time but one cannot fool all people all the time.

सत्यमेव जयते नानृतं
सत्येन पन्था विततो देवयानः ।
येनाक्रमन्त्यृषयो ह्याप्तकामा
यत्र तत् सत्यस्य परमं निधानम् ॥६॥

Truth alone triumphs, not falsehood.
Through truth the divine path is spread out
by which the sages whose desires have been completely fulfilled, reach where that supreme treasure of Truth resides.

-Mundak Upanishad

وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

“Truth has come and falsehood has disappeared. Falsehood is always bound to wither away.”
Quran 17:81

But the Truth must be presented. Being silent is not an option.

The world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it.”
-Albert Einstein, physicist, Nobel laureate (1879-1955)
